What you see is what you get with Liz Earle, she knows about skin and this book does not disappoint. It's not just another beauty book, but a complete manual about skin - everyone's skin: how it functions, explanations of what can cause problems, as well as how to make sure it behaves its best. Liz has always backed up her message with serious research and her reputation for integrity is fully endorsed in this book. It's easily digested, attractive to read, and full of sound information and advice. I'd say it was a must-have for all women (and men!), no matter what their skin type. Hmmm, Mothers' Day coming up....

This beautiful Book is a must have for all women! It is the ultimate reference book for any woman who wants to know how to look and feel as good as possible. I recommend it for women, men and teenagers if they want to know and understand more about their skin. This book is the Delia Smith of skin secrets-just a lot more glamorous. It practical and easy to follow in every way. There are great sections on problem skin solutions and on what happens as we 'age'. I learned so much more about beauty and have already put some of the hints and tips into action. Great gift of great skin -thank you so much to Liz Earle!

At last! A clear, informative, digestible and beautiful book about skin care, for women and men of all ages. Having had skin problems myself I know how difficult it is to find straightforward and reliable solutions and, having used Liz's products for at least 12 years I know I can always rely on her advice. The beauty of this book is that, while it encompasses a vast amount of scholarly research, it is laid out in clear and accessible sections and written in Liz's friendly and chatty style. Her passion for her subject is infectious and you feel you know her well by the end of the book! While it's a pleasure to sit and read through the whole thing, its headings and chapter titles make it easy to dip into any time. The directory of suppliers and services is a fantastic resource too. The photography, stunning botanical watercolours, and Liz's frequent suggestions for enticing treats, such as the do-it-yourself facial and several delicious recipes add a real feel-good factor to the serious business of looking after our skin. Fantastic!

Much more than just a guide to skincare products, this books takes us through the biology of the skin and how it works, the factors that influence the condition of the skin (such as diet and lifestyle), the types of natural ingredients that can be used to treat different skin conditions and how to protect our skin from the sun and environmental influences... Skin Secrets is, of course, lovely to look at too. Full of gorgeous colour photographs and sketches.

Ssssshhh - Liz Earle has a secret... Well, lots of secrets - and they’re all in her new book (already a major bestseller!) As Liz's old, old (but not old-looking!) friends we were of course there to raise a glass of champagne with her at the Liz Earle Naturally Active flagship store at Duke of York's Square in Chelsea. (Do go. It's beautiful. And the facials are swoonworthy.)
